AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) is an entrance exam for the candidates looking for posts in Indian Air Force. The exam is conducted twice an year.
Date of Exam: 25th August, 2013 (Sunday)
Eligibility for the exam:
The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit & Qualification:
Flying Branch: 19 – 23 years of age, Graduation is the minimum qualification
Technical Branch: 18 – 28 years of age, Aeronautical Eng with 60% Marks.
Ground duty Branches:: 20 – 27 years of age, Post Graduation is required.
Note: Relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Height & Weight (Male) – 157.5 cm with proportionate weight.
The decision of the IAF Medical Board will be considered Final.
Height & Weight (Female) – 152 cm with proportionate weight.
How to apply:
If candidate satisfy the eligibility criteria then they can apply online for the AFCAT 2013. The can open the IAF Recruitment Portal www.careerairforce.nic.in and click apply online. Candidates are advised to note their Registration no. as it is the key to contact if any problem persists. While applying online candidates should upload their recent photograph of size 10 KB – 250 KB.

The candidates who appeared for the written test on 25th August are informed that the official Answer keys of the exam will be uploaded here. You are advised to visit this page again and check any update. The Answer Key can be checked from the official portal of the IAF too.
